Leonard Carrubba is a life-long resident of Long Beach. He is married to Eloise Bond Carrubba and together they have four children, ages 14-20.
Before becoming Alderman-at-Large, he served on the Long Beach city planning commission from 1993-1996. As alderman, he also serves as Mayor Pro Tempore and advisor to the Long Beach Youth Commission.
With 10 years of experience in the field of digital media and technology, Leonard owns and operates Digital Media Matters, LLC. Prior to this, Leonard worked as stage manager and video production manager for Harrah’s Entertainment. In addition, he has worked in stage, television and film production since 1977.
Leonard Carrubba is an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Long Beach, where he serves in the music ministry.
A 1976 graduate of Long Beach High School, Leonard attended Gulf Coast Community College, gaining a diploma in automotive mechanics and an associate degree in computer science. He completed additional coursework from the University of Southern Mississippi.
