With the help of a grant program, we have been able to build a recreation department!

 

The Long Beach Activity - Senior Center is committed to supporting a healthy community by providing recreation to citizens of all ages, thus promoting quality life-long leisure experiences.

 

The Long Beach Activity - Senior Department Staff are diligently working on a number of projects to aid in the development of the acreage on Daugherty Road. The department is currently looking into available aid to improve neighborhood beautification, the addition of tennis courts, and a nature trail/hiking track. The Parks & Recreation and Senior Citizens Departments are very excited about the year to come and have many ambitious plans for our community.   ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE   Ceramics Oil / Water Paint Classes Quilting Card Games (Various) Bingo Annual Trips (Branson, MO) Quarterly Trips (Various locations) Breakfast & Lunch Served Wellness Room w/treadmills, bicycles & a walking track (available in gymnasium)
